SAMSUNG UNVEIL THE GALAXY S5 AND NEW GEAR RANGE.

Samsung have gone all out at this years Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain by announcing the release of the newest product in the Galaxy range, the S5. Like Apple, Samsung have now introduced a front fingerprint scanning home button, used to unlock the device whilst also boasting it's water a dust resistant ability. The Galaxy S5 looks pretty similar to it's previous models, although it has a soft-touch textured back. Also built in is a heart rate monitor, a sensor on the back of the phone that determines the blood flow in your fingers!

"The 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display features a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and the phone offers a 2.5GHz quad core processor with 2GB of memory. It runs Android KitKat 4.4.2 and includes an upgraded 16-megapixel camera with quick autofocus and real-time HDR. It has a 20 percent better battery life than the previous generation phone and includes a built-in power saving mode that will activate a black and white display with limited app access when the battery is low" - MacRumors.com

But Samsung didn't stop there, they also announced a new range of wearable devices - the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit - the world's first curved AMOLED wearable device with a 1.84-inch touch screen. the Gear Fit displays instant notifications such as incoming calls, emails and texts. 

These products are set to be released in April but pricing is yet to be announced.
